🐔 April 4, 2026 was one of those days I will not forget for a long time.

Thank you — from the bottom of my heart — to the Tractor Supply in Sharpsburg, Georgia, and to Mr. Doug and Miss Cynthia who said yes and let me hold the book signing there!

Thank you to every single person who stopped by the table, picked up a book and the coloring pages, or simply smiled and said something kind. You made this day more than I could have hoped for. Watching children open If Chickens Had Hands for the first time — seeing their faces — makes my heart so happy...

What started as a book for my own grandchildren is now tonight being read to many grandchildren! How cool is that?? Every little smile and them holding the book close to their body when they walked away was a gift.

Newsflash: I may, Lord willing, have an opportunity to visit a few local elementary schools soon, and I cannot wait!!

Several of you asked about the next books in the series — If Fish Had Feet, If Bees Had Knees, and If Foxes Had Fingers... I have them written, and I am working as fast as I can to get them illustrated too! Your excitement is the best fuel there is.
